Travel east on Clayton or Ladue Roads -- turn left at Price Road -- turn right at Delmar and travel 7 minutes to Fitz's. OR travel east on Olive -- turn right at Price Road -- turn left at Delmar and travel 7 minutes to Fitz's. Don't let jack hammers and demolished bridges turn you into a wall flower. The leading industry publication about beverage service in restaurants, Cheers Magazine, recently recognized Fitz's.
In a story about favorite beverages served at the top barbecue restaurants in the US, Cheers reported:
While New York City's Blue Smoke (restaurant) doesn't have any non-alcoholic cocktails, they are pretty proud of one of their non-alcoholic offerings.
"We are the only restaurant east of Ohio that serves Fitz's Root Beer, a Saint Louis root beer and we serve about 60 a day. We also make a mean root beer float with Fitz's and with pastry chef Jennifer Giblin's homemade ice cream. It blows people away," says Mark Maynard-Parisi, general manager at the Blue Smoke.
